What’s to Eat! Sundays 2/23/2020 Traci Kenworth Chicken Carbonara: This was splendid! The bacon and chicken blend together so well with the other flavors in the pan! A non-stick one like this is a favorite. Adapted from Betty Crocker Prep 10 m       Total 30m           Servings 4 Ingredients: 1 pkg (7 0z.) spaghetti, gluten-free and regular 8 slices bacon, cut into ½-inch pieces 1 garlic clove, chopped (½ c.) 2 c. cut-up cooked chicken ½ c. Parmesan ½ c. whipping (heavy) cream Prepare spaghetti according to pkg. directions. While spaghetti is cooking, cook bacon. Remove from saucepan. Drain. Reserve 1 T. bacon fat, discard rest. Cook garlic in bacon fat over medium heat 3 mins. I just used the saucepans the spaghetti was cooked in for next steps. Add cheese and whipping cream and pieces of bacon to gluten-free saucepan with spaghetti, add cheese and bacon and chicken to regular spaghetti in saucepan. Heat. Serve. Enjoy!
