Being a girl from Ontario, you can only imagine my awe as I sit in a van that is driving toward Alberta’s Rocky Mountains. Tears stream down my face as I look up at the white caps, amazed. Hours before, I was in Ontario saying good-bye to my Dad at the airport. I was in a new world. I am going to work as a spa attendant at the Delta Lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta. After checking into my hotel room, I put my hiking boots on and hike down the mountain. I sing in the falling snow on the edge of a cliff after work. It is one of the most beautiful moments of my life.
