This book introduces you to Lily White, PI. A rather simple case of observation is ended by a murder. Lily teams up with police detective Derrick Paxton, little do they know what is to come.
With “Lily White in Detroit”, Cynthia Harrison has created an entertaining mystery with more than just a hint of romance. Lily White and Derrick Paxton are very likeable characters, complex; even if they are not always on the same page during the case, they stay focussed. The story comprises a variety of craftily elaborated characters with depth and interesting interactions until the last page.
