In the Right Place at the Right Time

Sam spent the whole of Saturday scraping paint off the garage door ready for re-painting.  He was a tad cheesed off when he eventually came back in around 8.30pm, but I reminded him that the next day would be better as he would be going with our son Leon to the MotoGP races at Silverstone.

They set off around 8am.  The race had been brought forward to 11.30am due to the forecast of heavy rain, which was due to make its presence known in the afternoon.  Around 11am I received a text to say that the rain had started and that the race was being put back to 1pm.  Sam had bought a big umbrella, and he and Leon had found a good spot to stand by the race track.

Another message from  Sam wended its way to me about 1.30pm.  Apparently the rain was coming down in buckets and…
