#Children’sReadathon – Oh the Places you’ll go by Dr Seuss

This is one of my favorite Dr. Suess books!

This first week features pictures books and the one I have selected to review is Oh the Places you’ll go by Dr Seuss.

I love Dr Seuss, he is one of my favourite children’s authors and I think his books are catchy and fun.

A few fun facts about Dr Seuss that I found on earlymoments.com are as follows:

  1. He wrote under several pen names including Theo LeSieg, Rossetta Stone, Theophrastus Seuss and Dr Seuss. His real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel;
  2. He was not a doctor. He added the title doctor during his college years to give credibility to his writing;
  3. He won a number of awards including two Academy Awards, two Emmy Awards, the Pulitzer Prize, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Award and the Peabody Award;
